SeattleSlem: I am, I pray, a lot of things. A good daughter and a faithful friend. A seeker of truth. A child psychologist and a health policy analyst. A loving godmother. An environmentalist and substance abuse specialist. An excellent student and a dedicated volunteer. A dancer, a fabulous party giver, a knitter of grand things that can be produced within a week, a lover of life's mysteries, and a pretty good cook. A rabid reader. Someone who knows that the sun rises somewhere every day. A very serious person and an absolutely silly goose. I am, I pray, all of these things. Because without a little bit of spice, slices of commitment and determined dashes of love, what's the use? Life can't be lived in limbo.
